Oatmeal Reduction
Ok, I hate it when the microwave decides to reduce your oatmeal for you. What started out as a nice 1/2 cup of oatmeal, ended up being 4 teaspoons of pure milky bliss. Oh well, I'm not that crazy about it anyway.
Today is Day 4 that I'm officially on the new 1300 cals a day. Have had the Sugar Monster on my back the entire way.

Today is Day 4 that I'm officially on the new 1300 cals a day. Have had the Sugar Monster on my back the entire way.
- Day 1: EMOTIONAL DAY! Took my meals with me to the movie (AM Snack and Lunch) and planned on having the movie theater popcorn. Well things didn't quite work out to get the popcorn and I went without; didn't have my wallet on me and the Hubby was in another movie theater. I guess the sliced apple would have to do the trick.
- Day 2: Why was I craving sugar by 12:04pm?? I mean, CRAVING!
- Day 3: Succumbed to the Sugar Monster and had a cup of regular coffee with sugar. The stresses of the day were driving me to Specialty's for a Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie. Managed to stay focused until I left work (11 hours later). Said forget it and went to Taco Bell for a Volcano Taco. But wait, they have a Diet Taco! The Fresco Grilled Steak Soft Taco is 160 cals with 4.5gs of fat. Ordered 2. The 2 Fire Sauce packets were virtually calorie free, but packed on some extra sodium at 180. That was dinner. Period. Left myself the option of having a salad when I got home, and said, Nah! I'm good. Evening snack was a rice cake with a teaspoon of peanut butter. This was a victorious day in not giving in to emotional-stressful eating.
- Day 4: You, know, Oatmeal Reduction Day!! The good news is I am 3 pounds lighter, which is pretty cool! Helping me to stay focused today. Having a Decaf cup of coffee with Splenda. Oy!
